My newfound love for jazz and lifelong appreciation for classic rock has coupled into a blossoming passion for creating music that appeals to who I am and drumming for those with similar aspirations!

Strong film background

My career is full of potential and kinetic energy, capturing the origin of my interest in communicating mine and many others love for the arts and life in general. I also love to experiment with film composition, using bold choices in microphone techniques and theory while continuously learning industry-standard concepts. Having watched too many films (if that even really is a thing… which it’s not) I’ve familiarized myself with recording in video and audio for small productions to maintain a budgeted approach to filmmaking.

Filmmaking

The initial spark in my creative journey occurred when my father sat five-year-old me on his lap to watch Jaws. Now over 50 years of the film, it still resonates with me as my greatest inspiration. The score compels me to be a musical creative, the shots motivate me to think beyond the sea, and the incredibly documented absolute dumpster fire of the filming of it reminds me to be humble in a “keep calm and carry on” mentality in the face of uncertain and impossible odds.

In recent years I’ve come across so many passionate people and met the love of my life and best friend through my endeavors. It was my filmmaking club in college, Like Ike Films, which drove me to pursue all things technical and creative in my professional and personal life. I hope to bring this club with me wherever I go and see to it that students without film background can get one no matter their academic background. I’d love to see not only my name across the big screen, but everyone who has been a part of my life through film, symbolized across that screen, in Like Ike Films.

AV Engineering

In middle school I took the sideline from acting on stage and helped behind the scenes with miking lavalier microphones onto students, gain staging them, and cutting levels during the show (because middle schoolers can’t stay quiet backstage). Since then, I worked as an event tech at Susquehanna University where I blossomed into the AV world and have been pursuing further education in Dante, a masters degree, a PhD, and real-world experiences to broaden my portfolio and skill range.

Studio Engineering

Since middle school I’ve had an ear for mixes. I could tell in my schools morning broadcast when levels needed adjusted or if there was a power problem where to root the source. Years later In my audio engineering fundamentals course at SU, I got the opportunity to dive into the details that would propel my career into what it is now.

Drumming

I’ve been a drummer for 2 years of my life. I started enriched in a college campus with a roommate with a guitar. Our jam sessions were recorded in 2023 and became legendary to me by learning all it takes to get the final mix of a cover song. Ever since I’ve been taking drum lessons with renowned drummer of Breaking Benjamin and Into the Spin, Jeremy Hummel (1998-2004). I consider myself a jazz drummer but my goal is to really become so versatile as to find myself playing in a wide array of settings from small bars to arenas to weddings.
